In amongst all the doom and gloom it is important to find something a bit lighter to think about.
The Felixstowe Photo Competition, organised and supported by Visit Felixstowe, Felixstowe Town Council and the Landguard Partnership, allows both professional and amateur photographers alike to capture and share their favourite scenes of the town. The competition has attracted around 70 entries from all ages (12 to 81 years) – over three different themes: Active, Historic and Seasons.
Now members of the public are being invited to choose their favourites with an online vote at the Visit Felixstowe website – www.visitfelixstowe.org.uk
The four top photographs from each of the three themes will then go forward to a panel of judges who will then pick the overall “Judges Choice” winner. The overall winner will win a cash prize of £100, plus a framed copy of their picture. Voting closes at 12pm on Friday 17 April.
How to vote:
- Please visit EACHof the three competition themes below – Active, Historic and Seasons.
- Select your favourite photograph from EACHtheme. Please note, you can click on a picture to enlarge.
- Scroll to the bottom of each theme page and enter your email address.

Please note: you will need to enter your email address to vote – but we only use this to verify the votes (and to make sure you are not a robot!).
