Is your organisation actively working to help people in these difficult times? Are you delivering to those in isolation? Providing food or resources to front line staff?
The reaction from within the community has been amazing – and now to support the volunteer effort, Felixstowe Town Council has introduced a quick-decision grants scheme totalling £25,000 to support local organisations and charities who are carrying out beneficial work in the community due to the Coronavirus.
An application form can be downloaded from the grants page on Felixstowe Town Council website https://www.felixstowe.gov.uk/council-services/grants/
Any properly constituted group, club or organisation based in Felixstowe and/or operating for the benefit of its residents can apply.
If you need help with the application process or to submit your completed application form please contact Debbie Frost debbie.frost@felixstowe.gov.uk or 01394 288192.
These grant applications will be different from the normal Occasional Grant scheme in that a quick decision can be made on receipt of the application form.
Due to the Coronavirus the normal first round of Occasional Grants will not be taking place at the end of May.
