What’s On Stage in Felixstowe – February 2018

February is traditionally a bit of a quite time for entertainment – but there are still things going on that should relieve some of the grey days and long dark evenings.

On Saturday 3rd The Spa Pavilion present Vicky Jackson in Concert at 7.30pm

Vicky has been touring for over 15 years and is much in demand on the festival circuit for her amazing voice and repertoire of stars. The show will feature a cameo appearance from Amy Winehouse, followed by two rocking sets from Lady Gaga and Pink.  Adults £22.00. Concessions  £20.00. Box Office: 01394 284962.

On Sunday 4th Jazz East at The Alex  present the  Mike Gorman Trio with Mike Gorman (piano), Rob Palmer (double bass) and Josh Law (drums).  From 8pm – Admission free.

On Saturday 10th Music in Felixstowe  present  The Prometheus Orchestra at Felixstowe Acadamy at 7.30pm with Conductor Edmund Fivet. Programme includes  Boyce – Symphony no.5. Also on Saturday 10th the Spa presents Let the Music Play – a Celebration of Barry White at 7.30pm

William Hicks has performed as Barry for many years and tours with his own live orchestra and three piece female group The Supreme Dreamgirls with the intention to bring to you an experience as close to the real man and his music as possible. On Wednesday 14th Music in Felixstowe  present a Valentine’s Day Concert at The Orwell hotel 11.30am featuring the “Quartetto Familia” – Nicholas Ward and Rebecca Scott (violins), Robert Smissen and Graeme Scott (viola) and Harriet Bennett (cello). With a programme including Mozart – Quintet in C minor. Borodin – String Quartet no.2.

From Wednesday 14th – Saturday 17th Trimley Saints Players present their panto Once Upon a Time at Trimley Memorial Hhall. Performances at 7.30pm each evening , plus Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets £8.00 (matinee £7.00). 01394 671119.

On Saturday 17th The Spa presents Walk Like a Man: The Sounds of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons at 7.30pm
