Suffolk Community Foundation administers a number of funding streams – but they have a limited life. Check the ones below to see if you meet the criteria.
High Sheriff’s Fund Grants of up to £1,500 are available for work with young people (aged 8-25) that addresses citizenship, community safety and crime prevention. Applications will be accepted from charities, voluntary and community groups in Suffolk as well as schools (subject to the project being an extra curricular activity). Stimulus Fund Grants of up to £1,000 are available for charitable, voluntary and community groups to support local grassroots projects that are looking to promote tennis in areas of deprivation (including rural) and help those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable. The closing date for applications is 22nd December 2017. Criteria | Application Form
Suffolk Police & Crime Commissioner’s Themed Fund Grants between £250 and £20,000 are available to support the work of voluntary and community groups, Charities, Social Enterprises and Community Interest Companies that are delivering services that help make Suffolk a safer place to live, work, travel and invest in.
For this round of funding, the theme is: Business crime and the local economy
Funding applications must support at least one of these key terms of reference:
- To raise awareness of business crime (especially cyber-crime)
- To run programmes that help victims recognise and implement changes to prevent business crime
