This year’s competition attracted 68 entries over the three categories: Macro, Wildlife and Photographs at Landguard that make you go ‘Wow’! An online vote was then held on the Discover Landguard website. A record-number of over 1,500 votes were cast, and from this the top four photographs in each category were selected. A panel of judges then met to select the overall “Judges Choice” winner.
A special presentation evening for the twelve winners will be held at Felixstowe Town Hall in early November, where the Mayor of Felixstowe, Nick Barber will present each winner with an enlarged print of their photograph.
Stephen Rampley, Landguard Marketing and Events Co-ordinator said “Once again, this year’s competition has attracted a fabulous variety of photographs which capture the unique attractions and atmosphere of the Landguard Peninsula. We would like to congratulate Philip on his winning entry, and thank everyone who took the time to enter their great photographs”.
