This weekend is Felixstowe Carnival and the theme for 2017 is “Seaside Traditions”.
Friday 21 July: 7pm – 10pm: Carnival Proms Night, featuring the Essential Sounds Big Band. Held at the Felixstowe Beachside Events Area. Bring chairs, blankets and picnics!
Saturday 22 July: 1pm: Procession through the town with floats, majorettes and bands starting from Colneis Road at 1pm. Route is Beatrice Avenue, Hamilton Road, Orwell Road, Garrison Lane, Undercliff Road West and Sea Road.
Sunday 23 July: 10pm Spectacular Firework Display on the Seafront.
Both days: – Stalls and refreshments along the Promenade from 10am. – Craft Fair at Felixstowe Leisure Centre from 11am. – Donkey rides at the Volleyball Field (opposite the Marlborough Hotel).
